The Right Time is Now

It's incredible to me that some people can blog every day. I am not one of them. I might blog one a month and then quit for six months and then start again... However, I finally found something that makes me feel like I might be able to do this blogging thing once a week for a year.
Today, it is Sunday, December 4th, 2011. The first Sunday of December and the first day it hit me that Christmas was coming. By the first Sunday of December 2012, I will have posted 52 entries.
The ideas for these entries came from this great blog I ran across on StumbleUpon (Warning : highly addicting. More than Pinterest). The blog is called 52 Ordinary Projects. It has been published and is a great book as well. The point of the book is to start making up projects, It is as simple as that.
I am the queen of projects, mainly cleaning and painting, but it would be nice to expand more and do more things that other people will see, Hence, my plan to do every single one of these projects. They most likely will not be in order, especially depending on the availability of resources, friends, etc.
Mostly, I just want to know if I can do it. One of the quotes that has stuck with me for the past couple months was by Olivia Wilde, "Set out to change the world and don't stop until you do." I don't know why this struck a chord with me. I've always had it set in my brain that whatever I do, I will do it big and will be big. Not fat, just successful.
However, I've tried starting clubs, projects, etc. that I'm passionate about, but about a couple months in, I get overwhelmed and frustrated with how things are panning out. I want to try that again, and I'm hoping this project will help me develop better commitment skills. You're welcome future husband and future projects.
I'll start my first project this week and blog about it on Sunday along with my plans for the coming weeks project.
Wish me luck.
This weeks project is...
Find your old letters. Gather up all of the letters that one of your oldest friends has sent to you over the years. Photocopy the letters. Put the photocopies in an envelope, and then mail off the envelope to your friend.
